DDJ-1000 is not workinh (windows)
DDJ 1000 not recognized by rekordbox
I just bought the DDJ 1000. first thing i did was install the drivers and update the software. When i open rekordbox nothing shows up. It says DDJ 1000 is connected but nothing happens. I have been trying to fix this for hours. And has 2 messages "EXTERNAL INPUT" and "AUDIO UNAVAILABLE"
I am very frustrated. i have been using pioneer controllers since day 1. never had this issue.
is it faulty? how can i fix this brick

EXTERNAL INPUT simply means you have the channel input selector set to something other than the USB connection you're currently using (A or B).
AUDIO UNAVAILABLE can typically be resolved by launching the DDJ-1000 Driver Version Utility, then closing it.
