Can't update xdj rx firmware
tried 2 different flash drives, both we're blank. downloaded firmware zip file, extracted and put on flash drive with nothing else. Press both buttons and power on, and when I put drive in after being prompted to nothing happens.
Any ideas?

which OS are you downloading for, pc or mac?

I can't get the firmware to update
Are the flash drives are formatted as "MS-DOS (FAT)?"
I thought I replied but I actually got the update. I was copying the extracted folder to the flash drive, not the file within the folder. Once I got the actual file on the disk it worked.

I'm having the same issue. Every time I erase the flash drive and reformat it to the MS-DOS FAT it still won't update the firmware. I'm currently using Mojave 10.14.2. Please help. I've tried every known remedy and can't seem to fix the problem.

@Austin > Make sure you've got it set to Master Boot Record (MBR) or it won't be recognized by the XDJ.
