Rekordbox 3.0 preferences: keyboard ["load track to player" aint working]

Re-Map the keys in the preferences, they may not have carried over. 

I personally use OPTION+1 and 2 and they work great on Mac  

Im using windows laptop and i tried several different choices

sorry, not sure on Windows, Maybe someone else can chime in on what they use. 

I know on my mac I had issues when involving the SHIFT key or the CTRL key of that helps ya out at all

Numpad 8 and numbad 2 (these are free shortcut buttons).

Also i tried different letter, F (F1, F2, F3...) and number buttons, even backspace but nothing isn´t working.

Did you try using a modifier key, such as SHIFT or CTRL??

I tried but it didnt work.

What version of Windows are you running?

Windows 7 Home Premium

I just tried on Win7 and it works fine, I mapped 2 and 8, it asked if i wanted to re-assign being 2 and 8 are set to default to loops and cues and I said yes and tried it

I also tried ALT+1 and ALT+2 and it worked also

Strange it is not working on yours

Just a hunch, do you possibly have your NUMLOCK disabled?

Tried now numlock on / off but still not working

When you open the assignment window and you press the + icon beside the player, it says "New key-mapping Please press a key combination now" and then you press one of the num-pad keys (eg. 1 for deck 1), does it change to say "Key combination:numpad 1" and then you click OK?

"Key combination:1 (Currently assigned to Set Hot Cue A)"

I press Ok and then

"This key is already assigned to the command Set Hot Cue A"

"Do you want re-assigned it to this new command instead"

I press Re-assign

Same here, i cant assign any keys to load player. Same for every shortcuts in fact. Simply doenst work.

I'm on mac.

@Pulse I have a macbook pro, but the OP is on PC. There is clearly a problem with the shortcuts, i never had such a problem on the previous version. do you have rekorbox 3.0 ? Can you try to assign shortcuts ? 

I've tried Up Arrow & Down Arrow for Load track to Player 1 & 2, can you try and be sure it's possible ?

Before that i've tried left & right arrow, but they are used by rekordbox, i even tried number, nothing works. Rekordbox act like it's ok, but when i try to launch the track it doesnt work.

Also, it seems there's is no protection against a wrongmove, If by accident i put the track on the player who is already playing a track, no confirmation, nothing. The track is just replaced.

Very unsafe!

Is your "unlock / lock" button (right upper corner just above disc eject button) in Pioneer 2000 CD players in correct position? It need to be in "lock" position.

@Meke There's no "lock unlock" button on the 2000nexus. With the old rekordbox i was having a pop up asking me if i was sure to do that (put a song on an already playing cdj).

Ok the "lock" option was on the utility menu ;)

They're working on it. No news is good news. I'm not going to update every thread on the forums with every little detail! ;)

Sure, but without answer how can we now if the problem is just for us two ?

Now i know we are not crazy ;) 

Unless we need more information, the engineers are working on a solution.
