Dj Battle with 4 CDJS 2000 NXS connected in LAN
Is there any way we can connect 4 CDJS to computer on following way:
SET 1 :
CDJ 1 + MIXER + CDJ 2 to switch (LAN)
SET 2 :
CDJ 3 + MIXER - CDJ 4 to switch (LAN)
switch to a Laptop (LAN) Laptop to 2 iPads on each set (Wireless)
The idea is to have a front 2 front Dj battle where both set up ups are 20 meters away of each other.
We are wondering if by having all CDJ connected via LAN to a switch which would be connected to Laptop, we could then obtain information from each CDJ (like tempo countdown and bpms) and if yes, could it be sent from the laptop to an iPad to be added on each of the sets.

yes, get like a 8 port switch, plug all the CDJ's into that and the laptop.
where you send the audio cables to the mixer is irrelevant so it should all work fine
not sure about the whole iPad idea though, I don't think info can be sent from a setup to an iPad

but the info like tempo and bpms of the cdjs will arrive to the laptop? meaning will it be visible in the laptop somehow ??

well if you're using your laptop in LINK mode and feeding the players music from the laptop then you will see what the dj is playing, But you won't see changing activity like tempo and such, it will only show you the track info in the tag
