Preview Does Not Work In Performance Mode
How come preview doesn't work on my Mac in performance mode?
In Export mode i can click on a tracks wave and it plays fine to preview but once i go to performance mode it no longer works even after checking all my sound settings.
I'm on 4.1.1 now and still is not working, El Cap 10.11.4

Not sure if this is the way it was intended to work but here is how I've got mine to work. You must run preview through one of your channels on your mixer. This is done in preference settings.
I'll try that but you should be able to use it if nothing is connected without having to go back into export mode. Thanks for the info though.
