Android APP to work with DDJ Wego 1st Gen

Hello all.

I bougth an DDJ Wego to use with my laptop, but I see somewhere they can be user on IPAD with a special cable.

I also see that some app for android does support DDJ wego, but only from 2nd gen and beyond, what makes no sense to me, once they are pretty similar.

I would like to ask Pioneer pros if there are plans to have any support for ddj wego on android tablets, because I dont want to buy an Ipad just to use WEGO1
