Error E-8305 XDJ 1000mk2
Hi
Wondering if anyone can shed some light on this. I've recently added an xdj 1000 to my setup I havent put any songs through rekordbox and I don't plan to either I have a folder structure set up and I know my way round it so no need to. I also kind of like having no info regarding bpm ect.
The problem I'm having are some tracks are bringing up the error E-8305 file format not supported.
The tracks that have problems show in the get info option like this -
Kind - waveform audio
Sample rate - 44100
Bits per sample - 24
Audio channels - 2
I have some that are exactly the same but work so pretty confused at what to do about it.

I've had error E-8305 experience, mine was because of a 96kHz/32bit tune, I would have thought 44.1 24 would have been ok
These are the supported file formats on the XDJ-1000MK2:
It could be the player doesn't like the 24bit / 44kHz combo (try 48kHz?)
Thanks for the responses. Sorted this by running all my tracks through Audio converter app off of iTunes app store. Still using wav but just converted them all. I have found the get info option on Mac to be inaccurate when it displays bit rate and sampling frequency when compared to a dedicated piece of software to analyse.
I think your right pulse. The combo may of been the problem. Sorted now thanks.
