CDJ-2000 NEXUS Pitch drip (BPM not steady) Anyone???

Got the new 2000s NEXUS CDJs I see that the pitch drips alot ( not steady) any new users are having the same issue?

BriChi

Not I, I have done 4 - 4 hour gigs already, 90% dance, top 40 etc.... and I never had pitch problems, I set the second deck match the bpm by ear, sometimes I look at the bpm and match them up and I can mix with no issues as normal, even with MT on :)

I also noticed this as per my post.

The same. No problems with pitch (I use mostly 6%)

I've seen it happen with unanalysed files with my pitch set to 6%. I've seen a drift of up to .5 up and down

Thats due to the BPM being analysed on the fly i would guess, wouldn't say the tracks pitch is changing, more that the recorded BPM changes as the track plays.  Check your pitch as the track plays and not the BPMS to make sure of this.
