Issues with Pioneer XDJ-Aero (Video Inside on YouTube) Connecting Issue

I am still having issues connecting my Pioneer XDJ-Aero to my Rekordbox on my PC. I have made a video of the issue in the link below. The Rekordbox software knows my XDJ-Aero is there, but the light on the Aero is not showing up, even though I can work Rekordbox and the Aero together but not load tracks. I can connect my Iphone 5 no problem at all, it works great all the time. Weird!!

This is exactly the problem I had when Office Starter 2010 interfered with RB's network ports.

(discussed in several other post on the forum)

The problem I had with finding out what software caused it, was that it locked the ports at startup, and then didn't fully released them, so when I checked it looked like all ports where ok.

Have you tried to reboot the computer in "safe mode WITH network" and then tried to use Pro link?

If that works, you have some sort of software interfering with the ports in normal mode.

I will give it a go. I can't even connect on my Aero to do mixes at the moment :(

@Mark

Couple of quick questions:

1) Are you trying to send tracks over the WiFi or USB? From your video's it looks like you have a white USB cable attached to the back of the Aero?

2) If using WiFi, are you using Aero's built in Wifi network or are you connecting the Aero to an external Wifi network?

WPS will send out a wifi beacon, have you tried that.  Also try setting the network to opening RB

Sounds to me like it's firewall issues. Have you tried completely disabling the firewall on the PC?
