Hi I've recently returned to Pioneer DJ after some years away using other DJ software, so now i have the CDJ2000 which is better used with Rekord box to utilise it's full potential. Unfortunately i am finding Rekord box frustratingly slow at analysing my music. I've come from using Traktor which would analyse a track in maybe 10-20 seconds and Rekord box is taking minuets to do the same thing. i am using version 5.0.1 and running on windows 10. Maybe its me having a setting wrong hope you can advise me.

Well there's your problem... a Celeron processor isn't actually supported for use with rekordbox. It's an "economy" model processor with very little power. It wouldn't be suitable for rekordbox in performance mode, and you would certainly notice the analysis taking a long time.

I would recommend upgrading your computer.

Thanks I've done that and it has certainly sped it up maybe not as much as I would like but much better.

What kind of computer are you using (and list the CPU and memory specs)?
