This is how version 5.6.0 displays on Mac Pro High Sierra.
NO explorer window on left....

Ah, that could be the problem.
Per the system requirements, the resolution required is 1280 × 768 or greater
What is your display resolution set to? Do you have any zoom / accessibility preference enabled?
No accessability pref enabled. Resolution at 1280 x 720
Tried 1280 × 768 and greater. All started when I tried to restore library. Deleted Rekordbox. Reinstalled Rekordbox. Deleted all files from ~Library etc.... You get the picture.
Anyway thanks for your assist. Gonna sell this old bird [mac pro mid 2012] in 2 weeks so let me not drive myself bonkers. Life's too short to waste time. Everything should work out fine when I do a clean install on next machine.
