DDJ SX3 Jogwheel Bug
The left Joghweel of my DDJ SX3 goes on and off as it want's and performs its own "light show". Can this be related to a Firmware-Issue or do I have to send it back?

Hello all,
Will you please create an inquiry from the link below? Even though it is originally for rekordbox inquiries, we will answer other issues, too.

It would be the best way to communicate with the DDJ-SX3 engineers to identify the root cause.
Thank you very much for your kind cooperation.
Best regards,
CRM, Pioneer DJ
I'm having an issue with the jogwheels as well as someone else from a post I made. Mine stop playing when you manually turn them or scratch with them.
Yep... Me too! Come on Pioneer address the issue please????
Sorry to hear that guys -- I've notified our DDJ team who are investigating. Thanks for your patience.
In the meantime, could you please post a reply with your computer system specs and if you've tested with another computer / USB cable?
The Problem occurs even if no usb is plugged in, so this must be an hardware issue
EDIT: This is how it looks with anything connected
MacBook Pro (15”, mid 2012)
2.7 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DRR3
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB
OSX Yosemite 10.10.5
I also tried it on a Dell i5 computer running Windows 10 and it was the same.
I tried a different USB cable as well and it didn’t help
Thanks for the info, we have our engineers looking into it.

@FliGuyCeo > It's possible the problems you're having are because you're using Yosemite (10.10), but Serato DJ Pro (and the DDJ-SX3) are only supported on El Cap (10.11) and above. Please consider upgrading your OS.
@Kevin > Same thing -- could you please provide your computer specs? Here you can find the minimum system requirements for Serato DJ (and the DDJ-SX3).
I got the following message from my inquiry, and as my Problem occurs with anything connected, the computer specs doesn't matter. Nevertheless, here your are:
But additionally I noticed some (maybe) Software-Related issues:

Hello Kevin,
Thank you for creating this inquiry.
DDJ-SX3 engineers saw your issue and they assume this issue was caused by a faulty unit just like your prediction, "The Problem occurs even if no usb is plugged in, so this must be an hardware issue".
Please send the unit to a service center near from your place.
Thanks,
CRM, Pioneer DJ
@Kevin > Thanks, glad to hear they got that sorted for you in a ticket.
@Mashou >
Could you please email me with your SX3 serial number?
