Shift Keyboard mappings on Macbook Air do not map correctly.

I was planning to map the shift keys 1 through 0 to delete hot cues but discovered that the shift 2 and shift 6-0 are all incorrect. Looks like a bug for the US keyboard? OSX10.10.5 MBA (Mid-2012).

No. I think you misunderstand.

when you press Shift+2 it displays Shift+@
when you press Shift+6 it displays Shift+^
when you press Shift+7 it displays Shift+6
when you press Shift+8 it displays Shift+:
when you press Shift+9 it displays Shift+8
when you press Shift+0 it displays Shift+9

Works correctly with ctrl, option or command modifier keys. Hope that helps.

I can replicate this by using US-keyboard and reported this to the engineers.
