DDJ SX USB Port won't work
Is it normal for the usb to be loose when plugged in? This loose connection is causing my controller to go undetected sometimes. The only solution I have found is to angle the usb cord. Is there any real solution to this issue?

Check to see if the central plastic support post is missing, they can get broken off if the cable is wrapped around the unit when transported, or if someone snags the USB cable etc.
If it's missing are there are four bare pins in the middle of socket unsupported, you'll need to contact your local authorised service centre and have the USB socket replaced.
I believe it is still intact. I have attached an image of it for reference. When the USB cord is plugged in, I'm not sure if its the socket itself or the cord is loose in the housing but it still wiggles.
It's broken, the socket should have a plastic support post in the middle, like the one in the photograph I've attached.
It will need a replacement socket I'm afraid. Although all USB (B-type) sockets appear the same on the outside, the pin arrangement and dimensions etc can vary, so you will need a genuine item fitting.
Contact your nearest authorised service centre.
Thank you for the support and information you have provided. I am looking into the nearest service center now. Do you know how much it may cost me to get it fixed?
Probably an hours labour or so and the cost of the part!
So I went to the service center and they were charging me $100 to get this fixed. He mentioned the part was only a few bucks. Is there any place I can just order the part myself and have someone else replace the issue?
pioneer has a parts site, try there
