Pioneer DDJ-1000 platter sensitivity
Hello.
So yesterday I bought a new DDJ-1000 and right off the bat I noticed that the left jog moved more freely than the right one. Both of them were set on the same "stiffness". In order for me to match the stiffness I had to go 2-3 stops lower on the right one.
Is it just mine or is this something common?

As it's a physical tension adjustment, it's entirely possible the internal mechanism is slightly tighter or offset from the other - if it doesn't affect the range of use, then I'd say don't worry about it, but if you're really concerned, don't hesitate to return it to your retailer for an exchange within their return period.
