DJ switchover complications with djm 2000 or djm 900
Hi, There is any soft way in order to switchover dj´s when using the usb cable connected to the computer?

assume when using the mixer as a sound card and you want to switch laptops or whatever?
i would have thought to transition you would need to hop back on to cdjs while the current laptop is disconnected / next laptop is connected... cant see any way around that?
a little more info of what you want to do might clear up the idea i have in my head!
Hi Matt, I want to switch laptops...
the last dj is using the sound card and i need to plug into my lap running traktor.
spose you could usb directly into the cdj's900/2000 if you have them... then the last dude can use the mixer as a soundcard, while the next dj can hook up the cdj's
but im not aware of any tricks that enable hot swapping as you require!
Just have a CD with a track/intro mix on it and that will allow you to swap laptops. Once the song is over just have Traktor ready to go. http://youtu.be/J6coBbi737s theres a link to a video made by Dj Techtools on some ways you can transition
