RMX effects license with Rekordbox 6
So let me get this straight...
Even though I paid for an RMX Effects license, I now cannot use that within Rekordbox 6. It's money down the drain.
The only way to get RMX Effects back is to pay more money, continuously, for a full subscription?
OK I'm sure that'll please your customers....

I'm sure it won't please them, but with a license plan you not only get access to more features, you also get continuous updates in the software in the future. If we add more effects, you get more effects - you don't need to buy them separately.
That all sounds very nice, but I may not want or need those additional features. I just want to be able to use the FX pack I paid for...
(presumably it will still work in 5, but hey - everyone wants new shiny)
It will still work in rb5; that doesn't stop working with the introduction of 6.
I have the same issue, I dont want to keep going back to RB5 just to use the RMX FX that I paid for.
That would mean losing the benefits of RB6 and also having to maintain 2 licences.
It is not too much to ask to be given our RMX FX back when we paid for them!
If not are you going to refund us?
I dont want the subscription as my XDJ-XZ unlocks the other parts of RB6
You bought the FX for rb5, there was nothing stated about those also working in the next version of the software. Sorry, there are no refunds as the sales ended over 2 months ago.
Actually the original web page said that to use the RMX Efffects, you need to download the "latest version" of Rekordbox, then you need a Rekordbox DJ license and a RMX Effects License.
In this case, all the above is still true.
It did not say that it will only work with RB5, or that it will not work in future versions.
No, lighting functionality continues to exist across all editions of rekordbox 6.

As you noted, those are part of the paid plans in rekordbox 6.
Again, you paid for them in rekordbox 5.
Can I still get a license for RMX effects for recordbox 5? I don't see any reason for me to upgrade, honestly.
I have the same issue, feeling a bit disappointed with that! Just bought the RMX effects pack in the last January and now can not use in the brand new Rekordbox 6!
Sorry, the purchase was to unlock those features within rekordbox 5; they were not an unlock for rekordbox 6 as well.
