ddj200 wont control rekord box
recently purchased a ddj200 and downloaded rekord box software. it comes up at the bottom that ddj200 is connected but will not control the software. im guessing its somthing ive done rather than the products, can ianybody help please

Are you in performance mode or export mode?
Performane. I clicked a free trial of performance mode before plugging the controller in. Will that have anything to do with it?? I didnt realise that the controller unlocks performance mode.
No, the free trial would just unlock all the features.
If you're in rekordbox 6, have you logged-in to your account on the MY PAGE panel? Your DDJ-200 must also be connected via USB, not BT.
Ah. I'm using 5.4 or somthing like that. Does it have to be 6?
No, you can continue using 5, but 5.4 didn't support the DDJ-200 - you needed to be running a newer version. You can download the newest version of 5 from here, or upgrade to 6.
My laptop wont let me install 64bit version. I will double check what version I have.
im using rekord box 5.5.0 do ineed the 64bit version
You need to use the 5.6.0 or newer for DDJ-200 support, and unfortunately that requires a 64bit version of the rekordbox application.
