Analyzing hard drive everytime
Why does rekordbox have to analyze my hard drive everytime I plug it in?
I did an initial analysis using my 500gb hard drive and it went fairly quick. But when I showed up for a gig it re-analyzed my files.
Is this going to be an ongoing problem?

Did you ever allow it to fully complete analysis of all imported files?
When I downloaded the software I plugged in my HD to analyze all my music files. But I didn't do each individual folder.
What I mean is after you imported the music to your rekordbox collection, did you allow the software adequate time to complete the analysis process on all songs?
Yes, at least I thought I did. I'm going to re-scan my files.
Once it has completed, it won't re-scan them, and there's no need to scan them a second time. You'll see a counter at the bottom telling you how many are left to analyse.
