The cdj 2000 nexus does not recognize the original music cd and throws it out

Today I bought a cdj 2000 nexus. Now I will try him out and he immediately throws the original music cd out again. What can that be?

@movingzachb > I was in Detroit at the Movement festival! Give a guy a break! ;)

@Daniel > Sounds like the optical drive needs servicing / replacement. If it's rejecting every disc, it's not the discs, it's the drive. You can contact our technical support in your region for further assistance.

Was it some Britney Speer's or something?

Jova

Yea it does that with Britney and sometimes with Christina Aguilera depending on the track i have no clue why but it must be a bug or something ,maybe pioneer can get all that sorted out with an update by the end of 2017.

Where is Pulse and those other guys that reply to posts? Seems like this place is kinda dead.

Jova

i think there maybe something stuck inside the unit slot,is it brand new or a used unit that you bought?

movingzachb

I'm assuming he tried another original music CD as well to see if the issue keeps happening and that he has tried CD-R's as well without an issue?

Jova

All jokes aside it is kinda strange that the unit is doing that im guessing he got a defective unit if he bought it new cause when i insert a disc it recognizes it immediately original or not cd or dvd havent had issues yet , now if he got it at ebay then maybe the seller got him and didnt say anything about the cd thinking most people use files and that he would not notice the issue, send it back my friend if that is the case before it gets too late and they say that you broke it.good luck movingzachb

Jova

Damn,my bad i meant to say daniel he is the one with the issues
