DDJ SB2 not connecting to my mac

Im having a connecting problem with my DDJ SB2, It was working fine until I updated my serato program to 10.9.6 on my mac, it had been about a year since I updated because of the fear of this happening. I have never been able to connect my DDJ SB2 to my new mac computer that was already updated. When I plug my SB2 to my mac the bar at the bottom shows "ddj sb2 is connecting, this can take up to a minute"... But nothing ever happens

Ive tried a ton of different things but nothing is working:
1) I tried connecting my DDJ-SX to my back up computer it works
2) I tried downloading a trial version of serato on my wife's mac and my DDJ-SB 2 works just fine.
3) I've tried removing it from the device from my MIDI studio, nothing
4) I tried adding a new configuration and nothing

Its when I connect my DDJ-SB2 to a updated serato program that it doesn't work.
I have a wedding tomorrow and I need to use the second mixer.
