CDJ-2000NSX2 Jog Wheel Tension Spring

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can purchased replacement springs for the CDJ-2000NSX2 Jog Wheel Tension?

I have one deck set to 0 and the other set to +3, but if I swap the springs around I also need to swap the tension, so it looks like I need new springs, but I cannot find the info required.

Kind regards. :-)

No springs necessary, there is a tension adjustment under the jog - but unfortunately nobody here is authorized to provide the information on disassembly, modification, or repair of your CDJ. Please contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or repaired.

Thanks Pulse,

It's a daisy wheel numbered -4 -3 -2 -1 0 +1 +2 +3. You change the screw position, so that the plastic under the number pushes the spring down, which adjusts the tension. On one deck the spring is much softer than the other, hence the huge difference in tension from one deck on +3 and the other at 0.

I have 30+ years experience in the repairs field, but still only attempted this after none of the repair centres can service with decent timescales at present. Lockdown boredom made me do it... honestly ;-)

No worries - have fun, just don't break anything. :D
