DJM-T1 UPDATE
Dear Pioneer,
You have recently updated Firmware on Mac 10.15 Catalina for pioneer hardware. Can you please also update the firmware for DJM-T1 as there is some internal recording issues, and I am not able to record the set internally.

Chances are it's just that you missed allowing access to the mic for whichever application you're using. Open the System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy, click Microphone on the left, and check the appropriate box on the right (you may need to click the padlock at the bottom left to unlock the panel):
