The output audio on this controller has static, clicks, and beeps. It can be heard on all outputs including the headphone out. This is actually my 2nd SX3 with this same issue. The first one I took it back to Guitar Center and I bought a different one. Both SX3's had this issue.

The problem is actually more likely your computer. Several things to try:

  • If you're using a laptop, disconnect the power supply and see if the noise persists. If it stops, the issue was your charging circuit within the laptop not having proper shielding from the USB circuit(s).
  • Try using a different USB port. Some have better isolation / shielding from others.
  • Try using a different USB cable, if possible, one with a ferrite core.
  • Ensure that the computer, controller, and speakers are all connected to the same power circuit.
  • If you're using a Windows-based computer, follow the instructions here to disable the Intel Turbo Boost.
