Having a mix with friends and using two different sets of tunes.
Hi. So I’m struggling with getting together with my mate for a mix. He’s got a ddj 1000 and runs rekordbox obviously. Is there a way I can take my tunes to play on his set up at the same time as him using his tunes without me transferring my tunes into his collection? I’ve got all of my tunes analysed by rekordbox and exported to a flash drive. Can I just plug it into his laptop and pick tunes off it or do they need to be put into his collection? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

@Ben > As @Ves says, just export some tunes to a USB drive, connect it to the other computer, and you'll have access to the songs directly from the USB device. The only thing that won't happen is logging to the history.
Since 5.x.x it is possible to use an USB stick that has tracks exported through Sync Manager be used on a laptop running rekordbox DJ and load the tracks from there.
No need to transfer this to his collection.
