Brand new DDJ Rev1 making infinite garbled loop playback
I just unboxed my rev1 and after using it for 30 minutes I took a break. Turned it back on and it produces a non stop garbled infinite loop through my headphones anytime I press play. No effects are on, it plays fine through my laptop, all my other music hardware works fine. I'm using serato lite. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted, nothing works.

That sounds like the system possibly had a glitch with the assignment of the audio interface. Have you tried rebooting your computer and checking that the OS has not used the REV1 as the default audio output and is using its own audio interface instead?
I am having the exact same issue and others are too.

This worked. For everyone having the same issue, my computer was sending audio through the DDJ-REV1. Once I changed the audio to my USB speakers, the audio was clear.
