Hi

please tell me whether there is difference in sound quality djm 250 djm 800

when playing cd wav format

is there a difference between them as the outgoing sound different if they have a dynamic range and noise??

@Roman > Yes there is a slight difference between the DJM-250 and the DJM-800. The DJM-800 is built with providing slightly higher quality sound, but the DJM-250 is right behind it.

To be completely honest, there will be no noticeable difference in the sound quality between the DJM-250 and DJM-800, but the one difference I would mention is the DJM-800 has more headroom and can pump out louder volume without distortion.

Other than that, the DJM-250 is a great mixer and I hear the Filter knobs are solid and great sounding quality!

I am having sound problems with my new djm 250. When i use serato scratch with the mixer the sound is spot on but when i try and use the mixer with just my technics pluged in thru phone/line the sound volume is terrible the eqs hardly even register any sound coming from my turntables.

I'm guessing it was the phono thrus being connected to the line inputs?

No it was the the 2 switches at the back of the mixer needed changed from line to phono.

Does anyone know where to find an individual flight case for the DJM250? I've been looking for it everywhere and cant find one. Thanks in advance.

@Sebastian > The mixer is roughly 9.5" x 12" (240mm x 300mm) and will fit in almost any 10" case (with padding). There are literally dozens of them available from various manufacturers including Odyssey, Marathon, Swan, etc.
