Djm 900 nexus rec out level too high

I own a djm900 nexus. I've tried to record my djset using 2 external recorders but no luck (with zoom h1 and a tascam dx07) Do i have to return back also the second recorder or you can release a firmware upgrade for change settings of rec out db level? Thanks, Kad

Hi Marcello,

The REC OUT level is based on the line levels of the channels, not the master output level. I'll also note that the REC OUT RCA levels are -8dBU as compared to +2dBU for MASTER 2, and this is intentional to prevent clipping in recordings.

Forgot to say: Level is too high. Using the windows tool in usb mode i'm able to select db, but not with the mixer settings. I think you can do that

It's a djm900nxs, not nxs2 but please give us help for that. I've heard other people with the same problem
