CDJ2000 'NOW LOADING' ISSUE
Hello,
Iw as DJ'ing l was playing from USB (Sandisk Cruzer Blade 16GB) using CDJ 2000's (one individual USB drive for each deck). I noticed that the display froze up as I was scrolling through tracks. The notification 'NOW LOADING' flashes in red letters for about 30secs to 1 minute, then the display (and scroll wheel) unfreeze. This happens usually on the 3rd or 4th screen of tracks. I captured a video, however I can't upload video, however a screenshot is below.
Any idea what could be causing this?
Could it be the USB speed? Issue with some internal setting? Link settings (Which I don't use anyway, as I use one USB drive per deck)
I have CDJ-400's at home and I don't see this issue.

The Cruzer Blade is a $9 USB2.0 flash drive. It's not exactly what I'd consider a "performance" drive, so it doesn't surprise me that a CDJ-2000 had issues playing from it. Please consider upgrading to a speedier drive; I personally recommend the SanDisk Extreme Pro. It's a bit pricier, but it's reliable and very fast.
Thanks. Yes sure. However I've used the same Sandisk Cruzer on my CDJ400 and similar 'basic USBs' on CDJ1000s at many venues...without any issue. Is there something about the CDJ2000 and above that have different performance requirements? Thanks!
That may be, but the fact remains the CDJ-3000 is trying to parse more data.
