Metadata sync with a third party
Wouldn't it be good to be able to synchronise metadata with beatport's library so we have correct information, especially genre.

I can understand that this isn't implemented as a users collection is their own. Everybody tags their music in a different way. Some have featuring in the title, while others have it in artist. Also genre can vary where one says UK Hip Hop and the other just uses Hip Hop.
This is the reason I don't think it's beneficial, also Beatport have a habit of miss tagging genres, having EDM songs end up with House. Or a certain House sub genre being tagged wrong because the label tried to get their song in a top chart.
People were already complaining when Pioneer DJ introduced cloud analysis sharing ones beatgrid info so others would benefit from this.

Why was that. Seems like excellent functionality to me. Is it not implemented any longer?
They didn't want the beatgrids set on their computer to be shared (data sharing concerns, which they already agreed to when using RB). And concerns that the beatgrids they set would get altered.
I'm not sure if they implemented it
