DDj1000SRT Echo, pitch, reverb and delay on board FX are scratchy

Brand new deck and all sources both laptop / USB based and passive audio via mixer channel have the above FX failing and making the track scratchy while attempting to insert effect. Noise and enigma, trans mobius FX work fine.
