Par lights not working right
Using a pair of ADJ 5P HEX (12ch mode) and all they do is flash here and there. Colors work as intended, but all I get is steady flashes of light (like strobe) when they should be on solid. Even when I select the light in the editor, the light flashes white instead of being on steady white. Lights are set to Par Light 1 and Par Light 2. I've tested in the other channel modes and get the same results.

Okay -- an update! I spoke with Jay, we were using it in 6ch mode, and to be honest, the software isn't able to take advantage of the 8 or 12 channel modes. I'd set them for 6 or 7 channel mode.
The DMX modes, per the manual, are:
6CH - 1 channel each for R / G / B / W / A / UV
7CH - Same as 6CH; adds master dimmer
8CH - Same as 7CH; adds strobing
12CH - Same as 8CH; adds colour macros, programs, program speed / sensitivity, and dimmer curves.
The strobing is all controlled by simply sending on/off signals, so the strobe channel isn't necessary, and the programs aren't used (everything is pre-programmed through the software) so those also aren't necessary either.
UPDATE: I was finally able to get these lights to work by using 6ch or 7ch modes programmed in the fixtures. 8ch and 12ch still do not work (as described in my first post).
@Brian > We used the 5P HEX at the NAMM and Mobile Beat shows (as well as other events), and I know they DO work, just can't remember which mode we had them in. I'll see if Jay remembers and / or can test.
Thanks for the replies! I'll stick with 7ch mode...it's working great!
Glad to hear!
