Audio routing for DJM-450 or DDJ-1000
Does the DJM-450 or the DDJ-1000 support separate audio for in and out using Ableton? I want to use the effects from the Pioneer in my music production. For instance, I want to send audio from track 1 in Ableton to channel 1 on the Pioneer, then apply beat effects and last record the audio back into track 2 in Ableton with the effects applied.

Yes, both of those units feature discrete output for individual channels, however the DDJ-1000 doesn't return individual channels; only the DJM-450 can do that.
In this case, the DDJ-1000 would be able to send the audio with the effects back to Ableton? Just one channel at a time. I can see how this wouldn't be ideal for recording mix sets if you wanted to go back and fix a transition after the fact.
Thanks, A
Again, not individually as discrete channels - only the master mix (REC) is sent back in.

I have purchased the DDJ-1000. I can't seem to output individual channels from the controller into individual tracks in Ableton. I am only seeing audio for channel 11/12.
That's exactly what I said above; the DDJ-1000 does not output discrete channel audio. CH11/12 is the master output.
