XDJ-RX2 Rekordbox Performance Mode: FXs Deck 2
I've been playing around with Rekordbox 5.0 in performance mode using the XDJ-RX2 set to Midi Mode. While I can get beat effects to work i.e. I can control them with the RX2 mixer section on Deck 1, I can't for the life of me get them to work on Deck 2.
Am I missing something?

I don't have one on hand to verify, but if I recall, when the XDJ-RX2 is connected with rekordbox, it works the same way as the DJM-900NXS2; the software FX are combined as a serial FX bank, so they're all linked up. Have you tried changing the channel assignment for the FX?
Check the channel selector in the effect sections. They are not mapped as labeled on the RX2 they are inverted and they have the deck 3 and 4 option added too.
Theres a bunch of bug like this in the mapping of the RX2. Its like they've mapped it software wise and not hardware wise.
IMO they should have stick the mapping to what it written on the actual device not they other way around!
I want to know if there is a way to keep the same mapping as it is when its not connected to a laptop, instead of the FX its maps when its connected.
Thanks, I'll give that a go.
Yeap, that was it... Does seem the wrong way around thought :-)
Is the reason why my fx are different in export mode compared to performance mode? ie beat loop, slip loop are totally different?
@Glenn > Yes; software vs. hardware.
