DDJ 1000 Power supply
Hey,
I Bought a DDJ - 1000 in the US,
Though I'm living in Israel where we use a different voltage in our power outlets, I couldn't find a precise answer here.
If I go to a DJ store and buy an original 220v -
12V / 3A - 5.5mm barrel x 3.3mm interior
Will that work with my controller and will not burn it?
Thanks!

"12V / 3A, 5.5mm barrel with 3.3mm interior (1mm pin at centre), tip positive."
I am worried about that 1mm pin at the centre comment. So if I read that correctly, you need a special plug that has an outer 2 contact cylinder, and within that cylinder another pin. But then again, how would that be possible with a 3.3mm interior.
My DDJ-SX3 seems to have a normal 5V plug barrel \0/.
EDIT:
See:

So, the outer cylinder is one pole, and the inner pin is another pole.
If you can't buy an original, I assume they would have a plug like that in a DJ shop. But if not, but a good 12V 3A PSU, and cut the cable ;-).
On another note, I assume your power brick would automatically switch to 220V, as usually these bricks are multi-voltage. They convert AC to > 300V DC first, and then DC-DC it to 12V.
