DDJ-RB bad headphone quality when using channels

 Hi!

Recently bought DDJ-RB, and it's a lovely thing!

I'm only experiencing some troubles with my headphone (Philips SHP6000).

  • When plugged in, and previewing a song, it works perfectly.
  • When plugged in, and playing 1 channel, it works ok but with some distortion and lost bass volume.
  • When plugged in, and playing 2 channels, DISASTER.. Distortion all the way, no bass.

How can I solve this? :(

Kind regards,

Stephen Lammens

Are all your EQs set to flat? (12 o'clock)

Is your Color FX disabled? (knob at 12 o'clock)

Do you have all internal FX disabled?

Does the master audio output sound the same?

Does the same thing happen if you use a different computer? It could be the computer you're using doesn't provide adequate power to the USB bus / DDJ-RB.

Yes, yes and yes!

Master output is always great quality. It is just the headphones, only when 2 channels are put on.. :/

Okay, so does one of those "yes" replies apply to:

Have you tried connecting the RB to a powered USB hub?
