Playlist
Hi, i have a question.. I found a old post here, and i am wondering if something did happened to this question:
Is there a simple way to know, when you are in the collection and you select a song, to know in which playlists this song is included? I have a lot of playlists and sometimes one song is part of multiple playlists...The only way to find out to which playlists seems to select each playlist one by one and to search for the song, however it would be helpful to know in which playlists a song is e.g by right clicking in the collection.
I would love to have this in the future!
Thnx!

No, there have been no updates on this subject, however the workaround I'm using is to create some smart playlists and add custom tags to find the tracks which are / are not in playlists.
If you want to show which playlists an individual song is in, you can do that by selecting a song in your main collection and then clicking this button at the top of the collection window:
Thnx! This i did not know about.. Not the easiest way, but it helps a lot :O)
Thank you again!
Great this is very handy! It would be cool if it popped up at the bottom of the Summary/info pane, so you could scroll through the collection and see it instantly.
Wouldnt a simple fix be to add an additional header choice for 'Playlist'?
No - because if you have multiple playlists for that song, it would list it out too wide.
This is too old, but new features for playlists not.
I think it would be great if a song is selected and highlight the playlists where that song appears
That could possibly get confusing as opposed to the highlighting of the "currently selected" entry.
Something like that... looks confusing for you?
Looks great for me and I think this would be a very useful feature
It would if you had as many playlists as I do and you'd end up scrolling around looking for the highlighted playlist. I prefer the drop-down to click into them directly.
