Rekordbox DJ with External Mixer
Hi!
I need to get a setup going, and I just bought a A&H Xone 92 for a bargain price!
But, I don't have any CDJ's yet. But I was thinking that I should use RekordBox DJ & my Xone 92 as a external mixer.
So to my question, can I run RekordBox DJ on my laptop and use an external mixer through a external soundcard?

That's an excellent mixer, but with your configuration you can't use rb dj at the moment. You need some sort of pioneer hardware. Here is the list of what you can use: https://rekordbox.com/en/support/link.php
If you have/want to buy an external audio interface, you need to look at Serato or Traktor.
if you plug in an external USB sound card, you "should" be able to map rekordbox DJ to play through selected outputs of the sound card and then plug them into the 92. something like whats in the pic. I own one so i can test it once i get home

BriChi, my idea was to have something like that. A USB soundcard plugged in to my laptop, then control the output of each channel with each "CDJ" in RB.
well the CDJ is a sound card so just set it up so the CDJ is your controller/soundcard
which model CDJ you have?
No you got me wrong there mate, with "CDJ" I ment virtual cdj, like serato, RB Dj or virtual DJ for example.
Did you end up testing your sound card?
