DDJ RR Crossfader

Hi. I just got the DDj RR and I love it. But there is one thing I would like to know. Is there a chance to switch off the crossfader? Either on the controller or in Rekordbox dj?

@Ian is correct, the setting is not retained - and the reason for this is it resets when you connect a device. If it were to stay with a particular setting (say, crossfader disabled; no channel assignments), and you then connected another controller which has hardware switches to select the assignment, and it DID NOT change, you'd start to wonder why things weren't working when your hardware settings say one thing but the software says another.

The way to do this is open the mixer portion of the display and deselect each of the channel assignment buttons to either side of the crossfader:

You have to do it in the Mixer setting in Rekordbox each time you use it, there is no way to switch it off permanently from what I can work out

Where exactly can I switch it of temporarly? I only changed the curve so the impact comes very late. Btw thank you for your answer :)

It's in the Mixer tab on the main Rekordbox performance screen. You just have to deselect all the channels... it doesn't save it though so you have to do it every single time!

@pulse well I think there should be an option in the main settings to completely disable the Crossfader. You can already do this in Serato, Virtual DJ, Traktor etc

Pulse

Yup, but this is the way it works in rekordbox.
