Hi,

 

I'm  wondering if there are any plans to to implement 'midi note' instead of midi cc for the 'play/pause' button in Rekordbox DJ ?

At the moment it won't map to controllers that only use midi note.

I don't know, but would this be to map another companies controller to Rekordbox?  I know that every Note has a CC#, but I don't know what protocol would have to change, it's a button, so usually a Note.

Thanks for your reply! Yes, for instance I wanted to map a Akai MPD32 to use Rekordbox DJ for playback on radio.

As pointed out by other users here, the play/pause button is only recognized by a midi cc#.

The pads on the Akai only transmit midi note number. Most other software I've used with midi learn would recognize midi note, Ableton Live ,Traktor, Serato, Djay, etc..

Any chance of finding out? Would be awesome to know.
