DJM900 NEXUS 2 ,wont connect to PC

Which operating system are you running? Have you updated the firmware on the mixer?

hi i am using windows 8 , my previous nexus mixer worked , updated driver also , it says on setting utility not connected , i have even tried other usb port on nexus2 mixer 

update driver also 

i could do with a quicker response please 

did you update the firmware on the mixer Pulse asked you?

yes i have done that 

try a different computer to narrow things down.

@John > Have you tried both the A and B ports? Does the green LED illuminate below that port? Do you have any of the channel selectors set to match that USB port?

@John > I also see that you posted back in October regarding a similar issue with a DJM-900NXS... perhaps the problem is your computer and not the mixers?

Morning lads , sorry about coming across like a crank , i bought this nexus 2 set up for the big old skool night this Sat , i just want to record from usb to computer , i have upgraded to windows 10 last night , i have tried both usb ports also different usb leads , tried different computer ,i have disabled firewall also , the thing i can see is on the ASIO settings utility it says reinstall driver , i have done numerous times , when i open my magix audio studio where i record it shows up as djm900 nexus 2 mixer , its probably somethig stupid but can i hell find it ??

i have just been reading the instructions , the setting utility is the previous mixer , how do i get the nexus2 settings utility ??? 

Did you accidentally download the DJM-900NXS drivers instead of the DJM-900NXS2 drivers?

It's important that you have the correct device drivers installed BEFORE you ever connect the hardware to your computer.

i have it connected now to pc , i had the old settings utility connected , i opened the nexus 2 and it connected , the only problem now it wont record now from usb on to magix audio studio to record my mixes .

Is Magix Audio Studio running 64bit or 32bit mode?

im gonna get my computer put back to windows 8 , and reinstall drivers and start again , and check magix audio is 64 bit 

As the application is 64bit, it won't be able to access the drivers which are in 32bit mode. Please use a 32bit application in order to access the drivers until such time as Pioneer DJ releases 64bit drivers for the products.
