USB sticks only loading in one port
Hi
Been using the controller for a couple of weeks now and not had any issues but now got a problem with my usb's in that I can't seem to get them to work in both ports. One will load fine repeatedly in USB1 but when I move it to the other it is not recognised. The same happens vice versa with another usb that only loads in USB2. The issue occurs with both Rekordbox and non-RB enabled sticks.
I have only just noticed in the manual that you are supposed to press Stop to disconnect usb's and there is reference to damage to data management and the usb so I am worried I have messed up the unit. I haven't been doing this to date so is it possible that I have damaged stuff and if so, what would be the fix?
Thanks

Hi John,
Removing the drive without pressing the stop button may cause data corruption on the drive itself but should not affect the actual hardware unit. I would reformat the drives and re-export your music to them. Or, to save time, just try some different drives. Always be sure they are formatted in FAT16, FAT32 or HFS+. Let us know if this helps.
Thanks Mark, I will try that but how does that explain that it will work in one port and not the other?
@John > It should be the same for both, if you believe that one of the USB host ports on the XDJ-RX are faulty, you should contact Pioneer technical support in your region to arrange to have the unit serviced.
