Cue points

I have created a number of cue points in rekordbox. How do I access these when I load a track.

Also, just out of interest, how many cue points and loops do you set in the software, or do you set most of them when mixing live on the decks. Is there any advantage of setting them in rekordbox beforehand? It seems like you should be able to do a fair bit more cutting up of tracks if you've done it in the software before loading them onto the decks. Apologies if this seems obvious, I'm still getting my head round the whole system, I used to have numark ndx 900's, which didn't have nearly as many features!

@Ryan > With a cue point, when you load a track, you simply press the CUE/LOOP CALL buttons < or > to jump around between them.

The advantage to doing them within the software in advance is that you may find it quicker to create them, but it's pretty easy to store them from the XDJ-RX with the MEMORY button.

Ryan Reid

The xdj rx. I should have said, apologies.

I also run an XDJ-RX.  Why is Rekordbox only letting me set 1 Memory Cue Point in "Prepare/Export" mode?  It won't let me add any others in the software.  Am I missing something?  Thanks for the help!

@Derek > Chances are you're not setting the master cue before you try and store another memory point. Find the location you want to store a second memory point, stop the track (PLAY/PAUSE), press the CUE button to set that as the cue point, then store the memory point.
