Updating software question
When I open recordbox it tells me there is an update available for 4.0 - when I go to update it following the link it tells me it says I am already using the latest software - which I am now I am using 3.3 (I think it was) but it's definitely not the latest one? How do I update? Any suggestions?
I am using a MacBook pro
thanks

@Tom > It could be there's a glitch with the link, please try visiting rekordbox.com directly and downloading the latest version from there. After installation it may leave your old rekordbox 3.x version on your system, however the same database will be used so no changes necessary there.
Hi pulse thanks for getting back to me.
So I have downloaded version 4 from recordbox directly and its downloaded it. However I now have version 4 and 3.3 in separate folders.
Shall I delete version 3.3 off my system and use 4.0? Because when I load up version 4 it has all my songs on there but its only a trial version because its not got my license key on it and I don't know where to find it.
thanks
@Tom > You can safely remove 3.3 if you'd like. As for the license thing, it's asking that to activate rekordbox DJ (the "performance" mode) which is an additional purchase. Any old keys were for rekordbox 1.x or 2.x and are no longer necessary. You can continue to use rekordbox for free simply by cancelling that notification.
