DDJ-SB Background sound

Hey, I have a big problem with my DDJ-SB controller, and it's that when I connect the controller to my PC, I can hear some disturbing noise and it's really annoying, I have trying everything and I'm getting dessesperated. Help!

@Mark > Some things to try...

  • disconnect the laptop power supply
  • change USB cables
  • try a different USB port
  • unplug any other USB devices

I am having the same problem. I've changed the cables including a ferrite cable. The hissing is making it impossible to use at any volume. The hissing even happens with a powered usb hub without any software in use or being connected to a laptop. Rather inconveniently the guarantee from the supplier is finished so I can't send it back. Coming from Numark to Pioneer I didn't expect this. Please shed some light on this problem. Thanks in advance.
