[OPEN] ddj-sr freezes laptop - yes firmware and software updated
Another freeze problem, googled this problem and therefore updated to the latest firmware and Serato software BUT it does not solve anything.
It is most annoying! My laptop just literately freezes and does not respond to anything, a hard reboot is needed every time.
Options:Let me send back this device to Pioneer where I paid 500plus eu for and send the SX in staid or to compensate an CDJ2000 :).
No seriously, this is NOT customer friendly as I CANNOT work with this device right now, it is also not good for my laptop to give a hard reboot time after time.

@Rebel > Sorry to hear about the troubles. Can you tell me what the make / model / spec of your laptop? Specifically the processor type / speed, operating system version / bit depth and the exact versions of the firmware and software. Are you connecting to a USB2 or USB3 port?
Finally, can you confirm that you have tried using the SR with another USB cable connected to a different USB port?

I tried another USB cable.
I use USB 2.0.
Specs of my laptop:
CPU: Intel i5 2.40 GHz
Memory: 4GB
OS: Win7 32bit
DDJ-SR firmware: 1.07
Serato: 1.7.1

Hola.
A mi me ocurre lo mismo con mi SR. Luego de utilizarla por alrededor de 45-60 minutos, se bloquean los pads, faders y crossfader. Solución: apagar Serato o desconectar SR.
Mi computador es un Intel® CoreTM i7-3630QM, 2.4GHz, Full HD Anti-glare LED 1080p Display, 12GB RAM; OS: Win 8.1 64 bits
DDJ-SR firmware: 1.07
Serato: 1.7.1
