[OPEN] DDJ SX Powering off mid set!!
I've had the DDJ SX about a year (just over) and over the last few weeks the controller has started randomly shutting itself down mid set. It's an intermittent problem so I can't diagnose if it's a power supply or machine problem. When it happens it generally comes back on itself within 20 or 30 seconds but has gradually got worse. The last two occasions I've had to leave for a few minutes & power back up manually. It also has random lights out when it is back up & running. Hot cue 1 is always out but 2 onwards are lit up. Confidence is slowly going & resorted back to traktor scratch pro the last couple of gigs. I'm a working Dj playing 5 gigs a week. This is causing me a MASSIVE headache. HELP NEEDED. Regards.

Please contact an authorized service centre in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or repaired.
Does the unit SHUT OFF or just disconnecting? You may want to try changing both the USB cable and DC adapter. If it continues to fail, the problem is within the SX itself.
It's not a connection issue (USB) it's a problem with the power. The last two gigs I've attempted to use it, one was completely fine & the second just turned off once (at 3 hours 30 into my 4 hour set.) I'm waiting on another power supply as we speak.
I'll leave this marked as "open," please let us know how the replacement PSU goes.
I have exactly this problem I need help PS: the power supply is not the original that comes with the controller but the one I have meets the technical specifications is 5V 3A
I am also having this same problem. The unit shuts off, the lights all turn off and a few seconds later, the unit powers back up but acts as if it was disconnected (music stops, adaptive buttons are reset)
At the end of the gig, I tried wiggling the power source connector and I could replicate the shutdown. It's obviously something internal and physical (not a software issue). I would assume it's a loose solder.
