Surely this can be done? I have noticed the changes reflect in iTunes but not in reverse so I want to do this from Rekordbox end.

select a bunch, go to the info tab to the left of RB and open it, select your genre

if you did this in iTunes and the changes have not reflect in RB its because you need to reload tags, so select all the tracks, right click and choose "reload tag"
