Recording DJ Set
Hi,
I want to record my next set and have read about various ways to do this, I am new to this so was hoping for a very simple way without getting to confused.
This is my set up:
Pioneer Nexus CDJ2000's Linked
Pioneer DJM-900 Nexus Mixer
I don't DJ with a laptop, only with a USB.
What is the easiest way to record a 1 hour set?
THANK YOU! Please forgive my naiveness!

You will need some type of external recording device. Whether it be an actual audio recorder, such a Zoom H4N, a laptop computer running recording software, such as Ableton Live or Audacity. Run the appropriate cable from the "rec out" of the mixer into your recording device.
Thank you Mark!
I will use Audacity (MacBook Pro) so essentially I run a cable from my laptop to the "rec out" and open up audacity -
Are there any settings I need to change or should I be able to start recording straight to audacity from my mixer?
Thank you agian..
There are no settings on the mixer you need to change.
