Update to 3.3.0 deleted playlists
Hello,
Over the weekend I updated from rekordbox 3.2.2 to 3.3.0. Once the install finished and rekordbox reopened I found all of the tracks/playlists missing. I have been using rekordbox for a long time and it has never once deleted everything on an upgrade.
I had a large number of playlists dating back from 2012 with all queue points etc. set which would be a huge amount of work to re-enter.
Is there any way I can get the playlists/database back?
Regards,
Cam

@Cam > rekordbox doesn't typically delete the playlists, there must have been an error with the upgrade. Can you tell me which operating system you're using?
Please don't open/close rekordbox any more as there are backup databases and I hope that it hasn't already been overwritten.
Hello,
Thanks the response. I am using Windows 7.
I have taken a screenshot of the files in the directly if that is any use:

Is there any fix for this?
I see from your image that your database still has a substantial amount of data in it - can you please take a screenshot of the Analysis page within the rekordbox preferences?
I could do this however didn't you advise not to open/close rekordbox any more in case the database gets overwritten?
Your 1st backup is the same as the main database, and the 2nd and 3rd backups are smaller. You have 2 more open/closes before you would start to lose anything. You can always make a copy of those files as well.
